Play… Castle Downs Park is a place where we play. We play football, cricket, or soccer. We play with our friends and family. We play with our dogs. We play with our kites. We play in the Summer and we play in the Winter. The proposed design for a new pavillion in the park has been inspired by, and is intended to encourage, Play.
Like boulders in the prairie landscape, or a distant view of the Rockies from the Alberta foothills, this project will be an anchor amongst the sporting fields of Castle Downs Park. It will provide the City of Edmonton and stakeholders with parks infrastructure, while attracting visitors as a showcase for clean energy, design excellence and engaging community space.
